Ingredients
- 1/2 cup
chopped raw walnuts
- 1 cup
honey
- 2 Tbsp.
finely grated orange zest, divided
- 12
fresh figs, halved from top to bottom
- 1/2 cup
plain full-fat Greek yogurt
Directions
- Step 1In a medium skillet over medium heat, toast walnuts, stirring occasionally, until browned and fragrant, 2 to 3 minutes. Transfer to a small bowl.
- Step 2Meanwhile, spread yogurt across bottom of 4 dessert plates or small bowls.
- Step 3In same skillet over medium-low heat, cook honey and 1 tablespoon zest, stirring, until honey is runny and fragrant, about 2 minutes. Season with a pinch of salt.
- Step 4Add figs to skillet and stir to coat in honey. Continue to cook over medium heat, stirring occasionally, until figs have softened, 3 to 5 minutes.
- Step 5Spoon figs and honey sauce over yogurt. Top with walnuts and remaining 1 tablespoon zest.
