If you think spritz cocktails are only for summer sippin', then let me introduce a new holiday game-changer. In this recipe, cranberry adds a festive, colorful twist to your favorite cocktail, the Aperol spritz. Still bubbly and refreshing, it will make you feel like you're sipping the drink in the Mediterranean during the wintertime. It’s a fun drink to make for friends at your holiday brunch or dinner to get everyone in the festive mood.
I like to make these drinks in a pitcher so that they’re easy to portion out. In a pitcher, combine the Aperol, cranberry juice, and fresh orange juice. Give it a mix to combine, then add the Prosecco, and again stir to combine.
Once your mixture is ready, add it to prepared glasses filled with ice. Give it a taste, and add more Prosecco if you need more bubbles. Then, garnish with fresh cranberries, orange slices, and rosemary sprigs.
The full list of ingredients and instructions can be found in the recipe below.
If you want to prepare this ahead of time, combine everything in the pitcher minus the Prosecco and store in the fridge. Then add the Prosecco when you’re ready to serve.
