It’s time to channel your inner big kid. Think white cake laced with confetti sprinkles that explode into colorful polka dots (just like in our perfect birthday cake). If you love it as much as we do, it’s time to switch it up and try a quicker, simpler version of funfetti in dip form—because why not! Think of it like a vanilla buttercream frosting. This funfetti dip is a fluffy mixture of butter, cream cheese, and powdered sugar. The nostalgic flavor comes from imitation vanilla extract and the crunch from confetti sprinkles.
What to serve with the dip?
Dip and mix however you please. The sweet dippers can be Nilla wafers, fresh whole strawberries, and/or plain graham crackers, while savory options include sourdough pretzel nuggets or pretzel crisps.
Can I add funfetti cake mix?
You can use funfetti cake mix in the dip for added “funfetti” essence. After all, it’s what the dip is all about. Just make sure to use a cake mix that you can eat raw. Simply add 1/2 cup mix to the dip recipe below.
Can you make it vegan?
Sure! You can substitute cream cheese and butter for vegan cream cheese and vegan butter.
How to store?
You can store the funfetti dip for 3 days in the refrigerator. Bring to room temperature before serving.
