Forget plain ol' pumpkin pie—these adorable Thanksgiving turkeys have us on cuteness overload. Made popular on TikTok, these chocolate-dipped strawberries are shaped like a plump roasted bird (though perhaps a tad on the burnt side...😉), thanks to a clever combination of marshmallows, pretzel rods, and melted chocolate.
They're so simple to make: To make a leg, you spear two mini marshmallows with half a pretzel rod, then use kitchen shears to trim the edges into a long oval shape. Repeat for a second leg, then cut one mini marshmallow diagonally in half to make the wings. You'll stick these to the strawberry with a dab of melted chocolate (which acts as your glue), then let that sit to adhere. All that's left is a quick bath in melted chocolate.

Ingredients
- 1 qt.
large strawberries, rinsed, dried
- 16
mini pretzel rods
- 1 cup
mini marshmallows
- 2 cups
semisweet chocolate chips, melted
Directions
- Step 1Line a baking sheet with foil or parchment; set aside. Twist leaves of 1 strawberry to move them out of way, then spear end with a fork or toothpick for easy dipping.
- Step 2Make the legs: Break 1 pretzel rod in half and spear 2 marshmallows with one half. Using kitchen shears, trim ends of marshmallows to create an oval shape, if needed. Repeat with other pretzel half and 2 more marshmallows. Dab with chocolate and affix the marshmallow end to the opposite sides of the pointy end of the strawberry.
- Step 3Make the wings: Using kitchen shears, cut 1 marshmallow in half diagonally. Dab cut sides with chocolate and affix to sides of strawberry near the top. Let sit until hardened, about 5 minutes.
- Step 4Using fork or toothpick, dip whole strawberry into more melted chocolate, letting excess drip off. Arrange on prepared sheet.
- Step 5Repeat with remaining strawberries, pretzel rods, and marshmallows. Freeze until firm, about 10 minutes.
