How to use a brisket rub:
While it may seem like a simple step, trust us—using this brisket rub is the key to creating the best brisket possible. Rub it all over your brisket and then proceed with cooking as desired, whether in the smoker, slow cooker, or in the oven. 

Tip: The spice mix yields enough for at least a 12 pound brisket, feel free to up the amount of spices if you want some left over. 

Variations:
Want the rub to be a bit spicier? You add a few more teaspoons of cayenne. That being said, if you like any one aspect of the rub (or dislike), you can simply change the amounts! Just taste a bit and adjust accordingly.

What to serve with brisket:
Wondering what to serve with brisket? There are plenty of side dishes for brisket we love, but we can’t get enough of a good potato side dish (fries or mashed anyone?), or with coleslaw for more of a BBQ vibe.
