Adding frozen strawberries to our classic vanilla milkshake is a major upgrade (and in our opinion, superior to most strawberry ice creams). To keep the milkshake decadently thick, freeze the strawberries first. You can add more strawberries if you want it thicker and blend for a little less time of you like the strawberry chunks. And, of course, don't forget to top it off with some freshly whipped cream. For a chocolate covered strawberry version add some cocoa powder to your milkshake or drizzle your glass with some hot fudge.

Ingredients

frozen strawberries, quartered
- 1 cup
milk
- 1 pt.
strawberry ice cream
Whipped Cream, for serving
Strawberries, for garnish
Directions
- Step 1Place frozen strawberries and about ¾ cup milk in a blender and blend until strawberries are smooth.
- Step 2Add remaining ¼ cup milk and ice cream and blend until combined. Add more milk, if needed, to thin the milkshake to your desired consistency.
- Step 3Pour into glasses and top with whipped cream and a fresh strawberry for garnish.
