What’s fun about this pumpkin spice muddy munch, besides EVERYTHING, is you can store it in individual baggies so you (and the rest of your family) have a ridiculously yummy snack ready to go. Because we love a good combo, we use two types of cereal here—the classic, rice cereal squares and for added texture, corn flakes. For those of you with an extra-bit of a sweet tooth you can swap in frosted flakes instead of the corn variety.

Have you tried this yet? Let us know how it went in the comments below!

Ingredients

  • 4 cups

    rice cereal squares

  • 2 3/4 cups

    corn flakes or frosted flakes

  • 1 1/2 cups

    marshmallow fluff

  • 2 Tbsp.

    butter

  • 3/4 cup

good-quality white chocolate chips or chopped white chocolate

  • 2 1/4 tsp.

    pumpkin pie spice

  • 2 Tbsp.

    powdered sugar

Directions

    1. Step 1In a large bowl, mix together the cereals and set aside.
    2. Step 2Combine marshmallow fluff and butter in a microwave-safe bowl. Microwave (on high) for 30 seconds, then stir to combine. Continue microwaving in 30 second increments until mixture is completely smooth.
    3. Step 3Combined chocolate and spices in separate microwave-safe bowl and heat in 30 increments until melted.  Stir together then fold into the marshmallow mixture until combined.
    4. Step 4Add this mixture to the cereal and toss gently until all cereal is coated. Spread mixture onto a parchment-coated sheet tray and sift the powdered sugar over it to coat.
    5. Step 5Let firm up on the counter or the refrigerator, break up into chunks, and place into individual snack-size bags before serving.
