Lamb meatballs aren't exactly the spaghetti and meatballs type, they are so much more. These spiced, herby meatballs have Mediterranean vibes and with an addicting green goddess sauce, we couldn't stop eating them. They'll soon be a new favorite.

Ingredients
For the meatballs
- 1 lb.
ground lamb
- 1
large egg, lightly beaten
- 3
cloves garlic, minced
- 2 Tbsp.
freshly chopped parsley
- 2 tsp.
freshly chopped oregano
- 1 tsp.
ground cumin
- 1 tsp.
kosher salt
- 1/2 tsp.
freshly ground black pepper
- 1/4 tsp.
crushed red pepper flakes
- 3 Tbsp.
extra-virgin olive oil
For the green goddess sauce
- 1 1/2 cups
Greek yogurt
- 1/2 cup
mayonnaise
- 1 1/2 cups
basil leaves
- 1/2 cup
parsley leaves
- 1/4 cup
freshly chopped chives
- 1/4 cup
fresh oregano leaves
Juice of 1 lemon
- 2
cloves garlic
Kosher salt
Freshly ground black pepper
Directions
- Step 1Preheat oven to 425°. Line a large baking sheet with parchment paper. In a large bowl, combine ground lamb, egg, garlic, parsley, oregano, cumin, salt, pepper, and red pepper flakes. Form into 16 meatballs and place on prepared baking sheets.
- Step 2Drizzle meatballs with oil and bake until golden and cooked through, 20 minutes.
- Step 3Meanwhile, make sauce: In a food processor blend together yogurt, mayonnaise, basil, parsley, chives, oregano, lemon juice, and garlic. Season with salt and pepper and adjust with any additional herbs to taste.
- Step 4Serve meatballs warm with green goddess sauce for dipping.
