We <3 steel cut oats, but we don't like standing over the stove stirring them all morning. Let your Instant Pot do all the work and you will be rewarded with creamy and pleasantly chewy oats. Works great with any type of milk!

Ingredients
- 2 cups
steel cut oats
- 3 1/2 cups
water
- 2 cups
2% milk
- 1/2 tsp.
ground cinnamon
- 1/2 tsp.
kosher salt
- 2 Tbsp.
maple syrup, plus more for serving
- 1 tsp.
pure vanilla extract
Sliced banana, for serving
Blueberries, for serving
Toasted sliced almonds, for serving
Directions
- Step 1Combine oats, water, milk, cinnamon, and salt in Instant pot. Press the manual setting and set the cooking time for 5 minutes on high. Let steam release naturally for 20 minutes before flipping the release valve.
- Step 2Remove lid and stir in maple syrup and vanilla. Serve topped with more maple syrup, bananas, blueberries, and almonds.
