We love turning our favorite candies into desserts, and we were very excited about Robin Eggs. We added malted milk powder to the frosting to give the brownies a classic malt flavor, then we topped them off with some chopped Robin Eggs for good measure! The perfect Easter treat!

Ingredients
Cooking spray
- 1
box brownie mix, plus ingredients called for on box
- 1 cup
(2 sticks) butter, softened
- 2 cups
powdered sugar
- 3 Tbsp.
malted milk powder
- 2 Tbsp.
heavy cream
- 1 tsp.
pure vanilla extract
Pinch of kosher salt
Blue food coloring
Brown food coloring
Robin Eggs, chopped
Directions
- Step 1Make brownies: Preheat oven to 350° and line a 9"-x-13" baking pan with parchment and grease with cooking spray. Prepare brownie mix according to package directions and bake until a toothpick inserted in middle comes out with a few moist crumbs, 20 to 25 minutes. Let cool.
- Step 2Meanwhile, make frosting: In a large bowl using a hand mixer, beat butter until fluffy. Add powdered sugar and malted milk powder and beat until smooth. Add heavy cream, vanilla, and a pinch of salt and beat until combined. Add a few drops of blue food coloring and mix until desired color is reached. Frost cooled brownies.
- Step 3In a small bowl, add a couple drops brown food coloring with 2 teaspoons water. Dip a small basting brush in mixture and, while holding brush about 6 inches away, fling colored water over frosting to create speckles. Top with chopped Robin Eggs.
