Need a party app fast? These candied bacon smokies are IT. We wrapped bacon around little smokies, then sprinkled them with brown sugar for an upgrade to the classic game day appetizer that's a must-make bite. Warning: You should probably go ahead and make two batches, because these will go FAST.

Ingredients

(12-oz.) package little smokies
- 1 lb.
bacon, cut into thirds
- 1/2 cup
packed brown sugar
- 1/2 tsp.
garlic powder
- 1/4 tsp.
cayenne pepper
Directions
- Step 1Preheat oven to 400° and line a large baking sheet with parchment paper. Wrap each little smokie with a piece of bacon and secure with a toothpick. Place on prepared pan.
- Step 2In a small bowl, mix together brown sugar, garlic powder, and cayenne. Sprinkle over little smokies.
- Step 3Bake until bacon is crisp, 30 to 35 minutes.
