Rice Krispies treats are a classic childhood treat—and for good reason—but let's be honest, they aren't exactly the most exciting treat in the world. But don't fret, I'm in the business of making desserts more enticing, and what better way to enhance a treat than to add milk's favorite cookie? These treats combine marshmallow, chocolate, Rice Krispies, and Oreo cookies (whatever flavor you prefer!) for a perfectly sweet and sticky treat.
These treats are so quick and easy to make which make them perfect food gifts or centerpieces of a party dessert buffet. Whether you keep them for yourself or spread the joy with others, these sweet treats are sure to make everyone happy.

Ingredients
Cooking spray, for pan
- 5 Tbsp.
unsalted butter
- 1
(10-oz.) bag mini marshmallows
Pinch kosher salt
- 6 cups
Rice Krispies cereal
- 12
Oreos, crushed, divided
- 24
whole Oreos
- 1 tsp.
coconut oil, divided
- 1/3 cup
semisweet chocolate chips
- 1/3 cup
white chocolate chips
Directions
- Step 1Line a 9”-x-13” pan with parchment paper and grease with cooking spray. In a small microwave-safe bowl, melt together 1/2 teaspoon oil and white chocolate in 20-second intervals until smooth. In a separate bowl, repeat with remaining 1/2 teaspoon oil and semisweet chocolate. Set aside.
- Step 2In a large pot over medium-low heat, melt butter. Stir in marshmallows and salt and stir until mixture is melted. Remove from heat. Immediately add Rice Krispies and half the crushed Oreos and stir with a rubber spatula until combined.
- Step 3Working quickly, press half of mixture into an even layer in pan, then top with a layer of Oreos. Press remaining mixture over Oreos. Top with remaining crushed Oreos, and drizzle with melted chocolates.
- Step 4Let set for 15 minutes, then cut into squares before serving.
