When it comes to movie snacks, it doesn't get much more classic than buttered popcorn. While I'm all about plain ol' buttered popcorn, I also love to get creative with the seasonings. This sushi-inspired popcorn is flavored with a mix of Japanese seasonings like togarashi (a chile blend) and crumbled nori (dried seaweed). The result is an umami-packed salty snack that will have you skipping ordering that sushi takeout.
When it comes to the popcorn, you can use whatever is easiest for you (as long as you butter it). Use a store-bought package of un-popped (or popped) popcorn, or make your own stovetop popcorn if you're looking to go above and beyond.
