Ingredients
- 1 cup
(2 sticks) butter, softened
- 3/4 cup
brown sugar
- 1/2 cup
granulated sugar
- 1
large egg
- 1 tsp.
pure vanilla extract
- 1 1/2 cups
all-purpose flour
- 1 tsp.
baking soda
- 1 tsp.
kosher salt
- 1 tsp.
cinnamon
- 2 cups
old-fashioned oats
- 2 cups
chocolate chips
Directions
- Step 1Preheat oven to 350° and line two baking sheets with parchment paper. In a large bowl cream together butter and sugars until light and fluffy. Add egg then vanilla and mix well.
- Step 2In another large bowl whisk together flour, baking soda, salt, and cinnamon. Add to wet ingredients and mix until just combined then stir in oats and chocolate chips.
- Step 3 Scoop dough onto baking sheets about 2” apart. Bake until set, 12 minutes.
