Ingredients
- 6 medium plum tomatoes
- 3 Tbsp. basil pesto (from the refrigerated pasta section of your market)
Directions
- Step 1Heat oven to 450°F. Cut tomatoes in half lengthwise. Cut a paper-thin slice from rounded sides so tomatoes sit flat. Place rounded side down in a shallow 2-quart baking dish. Spread pesto on tomatoes up to 1/8 inch from edges.
- Step 2Bake 12 to 15 minutes until tomatoes are hot and slightly softened.
