I feel unconditional love for everything bagels. I don't care that they make everything they come in contact with—me included—smell like onions. I don't care that the taste of everything seasoning only makes me crave everything seasoning all day. And I also don't care that I end up with poppy seeds in my teeth for, like, ever. I love them.

I've also recently realized that it's insanely easy to make everything bagel seasoning—a trick I learned from food stylist Jason Schreiber, when he was decking out some cocktail franks for us. It's simply a mix of garlic powder, dehydrated onions, poppy and sesame seeds, coarse salt, and pepper. Now that I have this magic secret, I want to use it on EVERYTHING.

And I will. For starters, this monkey bread. Monkey bread is usually a sweet treat: It's balls of dough rolled in cinnamon sugar, doused in melted butter, baked in a bundt pan, and served for breakfast. It's delightful—but I argue that it can be even more delightful when savory. And rolled in a ton of everything-bagel seasoning. I'm not wrong.

This comes together incredibly fast because I used refrigerated dough (as most people do). Serve this with a side of cream cheese: people can pull the bread apart and spread each piece (they're so much more manageable than an entire bagel). I also suggest you make a ton of extra seasoning—because once you've finished off this monkey bread, you're only going to want more.
