That's why we collected mouthwatering food and drink recipes featuring this fabulous spirit, so you can get your tequila on even if you have an early morning tomorrow. Either way, paired with a pinch of salt, these recipes are celebration perfection.
What to Eat
1. Tequila Lime Flank Steak Fajita Salad
This is one of those salads that's so good it doesn't really count as a salad. But, that's a technicality. It's still delicious and that steak is marinated in tequila. You're welcome.

What to Drink
1. Cilantro Jalapeno Margarita

2. Cherry Valance

- 1 1/2 parts Hornitos® Black Barrel®
- 1/2 part Applejack
- 1/2 part fresh lemon juice
- 1/3 part pomegranate syrup
- Egg white
Preparation: Combine all ingredients into a mixing glass, add ice and shake extremely vigorously until egg whites are mixed well. Serve in a coupe glass.
3. Pineapple Serrano Margarita

- 2 ounces Herradura Silver
- 3 cubic inches of pineapple diced
- 3/4 ounce lime juice
- 1/2 ounce simple syrup
- 3 slices of Serrano chili with seeds
Preparation: Crush pineapple and chili slices in the base of a shaker with a muddler. Add cubed ice and remaining ingredients; shake hard and strain over ice in an old fashioned glass. Garnish with a chili and a star Anise pod.
4. Honey Ginger Sauza-Rita

- 1 part Sauza® Blue Silver 100% Agave Tequila
- 1 part lemonade
- 1 part ginger beer
- 1 part water
- 1/2 teaspoon honey
- Lemon slices
Preparation: Combine lemonade, ginger beer, tequila, water, lemon slices and ½ teaspoon of honey in a glass filled with ice. Stir well to combine.
5. La Bamba

- 2 parts Hornitos® Black Barrel®
- 1/2 part lime juice
- 1/2 part agave
- 1/2 part Chile liqueur (or dash of hot sauce)
- Ginger beer
Preparation: Combine all ingredients into a mixing glass (except ginger beer), add ice, and shake vigorously. Pour over ice and top with ginger beer. Serve in a coupe glass.
6. Easy Tiger

- 1 1/3 ounces Herradura Blanco
- 2 slices of ginger
- 2 teaspoons agave syrup
- Squeezed fresh lime juice
- Ginger Ale
Preparation: In a shaker, crush the ginger and blend in the agave syrup. Add ice and remaining ingredients. Shake and strain into the cocktail glass and cap off with ginger ale.
7. Spicy Sauza-Rita

- 1 part Sauza® Blue Silver 100% Agave Tequila
- 2 parts beer
- 1 part frozen limeade concentrate
- 1 part water
- A dash of hot sauce
- Sugar (for garnish)
- Salt (for garnish)
- Red pepper (for garnish)
- Chili pepper (for garnish)
Preparation: In a glass, combine all ingredients. Chill and serve in glasses rimmed with sugar, salt and red pepper. Garnish with a chili. Enjoy!
