As Warner Bros. and DC Comics slowly started teasing Suicide Squad—a dark blockbuster featuring some of the comic book world's biggest villains—one character immediately started to overshadow the rest, even Jared Leto's shrouded-in-mystery Joker: Harley Quinn. Quinn has always been a fan favorite, but Margot Robbie's take on the bubbly sociopath has taken the obsession mainstream.

Clearly, the marketing team behind this movie knew that'd be the case, with full Dr. Quinzel-inspired clothing line at Hot Topic, Harley Quinn action figures—even a hair dye kit. There's one thing they didn't think of, though: How to party like Harley.

In honor of the character, who's basically the human embodiment of a Sour Patch Kid, we created this sweet-tart shot. Lemon juice sticks the sanding sugar to the rim of the shot glass, and the cotton candy-like blend of whipped cream-flavored vodka and blue Gatorade is offset with a jolt of cranberry juice. As a finishing touch—and a nod to Quinn's baseball bat—we added a navy rock candy stirrer, which you can find at most candy or party supply stores, or using the link below.
