I have a confession. I'm the girl cooking in the Chicken Burrito Bowls video that went up last night. I'm responsible for the single red pepper that dropped by the burner. For those who were given "so much OCD" by this accident, let me explain myself.

I didn't even see the pepper fall from the pan. I spotted the little guy by the burner when I was making the beans. As soon as I saw it, I knew it would be a problem. I panicked.

Here's a recap of just some of the million thoughts that raced through my mind: "Do I pick it up and pretend it didn't happen? Maybe people won't notice. OMG PEOPLE WILL DEFINITELY NOTICE AND BE MAD. I should embrace my cooking blunder. People know that those hands sauteeing the fajita vegetables are attached to a real person who makes mistake right??"

Our fun 50-second cooking videos are different than the Giada's and Ina's shows on TV. Duh. I say this only because, most of the time, we only have one take to get our shot. Reshooting the sauteed peppers would've delayed our schedule. So I decided to leave it there. And people got real upset.

Yes, Ellen, I am irritated. So are the 35 other people who liked your comment.

I hope you don't get mad, friend of this guy, but I understand if you do.

To everyone I offended by dropping the pepper, I'm sorry! People make mistakes. But blame it on me, not the burrito bowls. They're really delicious—even a pepper down.
