If you're like anyone on the Delish staff, you're likely always in a chicken rut. It's an ingredient that's too easy to have a love-hate relationship with: It's a healthy, affordable cut that's usually delicious...unless you run out of ideas and your winner winner chicken dinner is suddenly a big loser loser. To try to make cooking a healthy dinner easier, we made this killer Asian-inspired honey-glazed chicken recipe. It's salty from soy sauce, spicy from a little Sriracha, and citrusy from lime juice.

The best part of this dish is the cooking method, which is one my go-tos: Sear-roast. You sear the chicken over high heat in an oven-proof skillet until golden—but not cooked through—then transfer to the oven to bake through. Basically this gets you the crispy outside that you love, but the juiciness and tenderness from not drying out in the oven.

If you don't want to use the Asian sauce I used, you can totally still use this method. You pour the sauce over the chicken just before it goes into the oven and then spoon it over again when it comes out. The best part is that the honey caramelizes under the high heat and gets sooo delicious.
