The holidays have the strangest effect on people in that no matter what kind of habits they have with healthy eating or exercise, it all goes out the window starting Thanksgiving Day. May I present to you, a holiday bark without all the guilt. As much we love piling our s'mores bark with graham crackers and mini marshmallows, we can't eat that all the time. For moments when you want something sweet and festive but without loads of added sugar and calories, reach for this Skinny Bark: a dark chocolate base swirled with peanut butter (great source of protein), peanuts (healthy fats!), and a small amount of pretzels (no one should be deprived of a salty crunch! But if you want a low-carb version, leave it out.). Heading into January, it's the perfect thing to have hanging around for when holiday cake and pie just won't do.
