It came to us in a pretty organic way: We were combing our favorite bloggers' posts for the best banana splits when we stumbled upon a savory version. Suddenly the earth's axis shifted, the skies opened, and we were left wondering: Why in the world couldn't you eat this for breakfast? It all seemed legal: bananas, yogurt (or other creamy, slightly sweet scoop), toppings like fruits, nuts, and granola. So we went for it. Check out some of our creations, but feel free to mix and match. (BTW, they're good enough for dessert, too. And kids LOVE them.)
