Korean Melon Popsicles
Steve Cylka/The Black Peppercorn

Our romance with Asian produce continues with the K installment in our Icy Treats A to Z summer series: Korean Melon Popsicles.

Korean melon tastes quite like a cantaloupe, though with a slightly cleaner and more delicate flavor. Called yellow melon or dua gan, Korean melons are bright yellow and slightly elongated with deep lengthwise grooves. Find them at Asian groceries or specialty food stores.
