Born in Jakarta to Indonesian Chinese parents and raised in Singapore, Pat Tanumihardja has been a food and lifestyle writer for over a decade. Pat’s bylines have appeared in the Washington Post, SeriousEats.com, and BonAppetit.com among other publications. Plus, she has four cookbooks under her belt including The Asian Grandmothers Cookbook and Instant Pot Asian Pressure Cooker Meals: Fast, Fresh & Affordable. Pat is currently developing family recipes with her mom Julia for an Indonesian cookbook. She lives in Springfield, VA with her husband and son.
