Reese's Rudolph Bites

If you need the perfect holiday snack (and craft!) to get the entire family in the holiday spirit, then these Rudolph Reese's bites are just the thing. With only a handful of ingredients, this holiday treat is guaranteed to get everyone involved in the reindeer games this year. They come together in 30 minutes, making them an ideal last-minute dessert when your holiday party needs a festive, fun addition.

The ingredients:
The only special ingredient you'll need is candy eyes to build these jolly reindeer, which can be purchased online, but the rest comes together in a snap. I wouldn’t want our deer to get chilly, so I’ve fashioned them cozy scarves out of red, white, and green Airheads, but you could also use fruit roll-ups or colorful taffy (just flatten the taffy with a rolling pin and cut out the scarves). For the iconic red nose, you can use red M&M’s or Red Hots for a seasonally spicy kick! And nothing makes sweets tastier than just a little salt, so I’ve opted to use salted pretzels for the antlers.

Assembling the bites:
I suggest keeping your Reese’s in the fridge or freezer before assembling so that they’re easier to work with. I also recommend building the faces before attaching the heads to the bodies, which gives the eyes and noses a chance to adhere before they need to be turned upright.

Serving the bites:
The recipe I’ve provided makes 28 reindeer, but you can easily scale this recipe up or down to make as many or as few as you’d like. They’ll look adorable adorning your holiday table this year, and I bet they won’t last long, either.
